Majority in dark over EU treaty

PolllogoThe majority of BCFE students have no view or don’t know what the Lisbon Treaty is, a poll by the Ballyfermot Post shows.

Students were asked: “If the upcoming referendum on the Lisbon Treaty (which follows the rejected EU constitution) was held tomorrow would you vote.”  The survey shows that 64 percent of students chose “Don’t know / no view”.

67% look for action on climate change

PolllogoThe vast majority of students want action on climate change, with 67 percent of students agreeing that it is up to a mixture of governments and the individuals to stop the phenomenon.

Mixed views among students on abortion

PolllogoOne in three students says that it is up to the pregnant woman on whether to take the decision of abortion, according to our political poll, while one in five believes that the decision is up to both biological parents.
