Ballyfermot college will be entering three teams to this year’s international student games making competition, Dare to be Digital.
Students from BCFE’s performance and presentation course will be performing their version of Star Wars the Musical on Thursday May 1.
The show which will also feature monologues, dancing and cabaret, will take place in the Ann Brett hall; the college’s media building at 2pm.
There has been an increase of 10 percent in energy awareness in BCFE, according to a recent on-campus survey.
Ballyfermot is set to get another new enhancement with plans to see the area around the Civic Centre redeveloped.
Local TD Catherine Byrne has said that the HSE decision to remove respite care beds in Cherry Orchard Hospital shows a “disregard” for the elderly population which will cause “stress and suffering” for old people.
